I began my career in the photography industry on the other side of the camera—as I like to tell my children, it was a long, long time ago and a dress size far, far away. Starting out as both a model and a makeup artist, I had the privilege of working with many different photographers. That experience now informs my work behind the lens, where I use every bit of knowledge I gained to create the best possible experience for my clients.

Nothing is more satisfying to me than transforming the client who says, “I hate the way I look in photos,” into the one who says, “Wow, I look amazing in these!” With more than 20 years in the industry, I’ve learned how to guide the image-conscious with thoughtful posing and flattering angles that “fool the camera’s eye.” My goal isn’t to create a plastic version of you, but to capture the most beautiful, authentic version of yourself.

I love the Lord, my family, and I have a passion for loving on people. My deepest joy comes from helping others look and feel better about themselves, so I can see them shine their brightest. Creativity drives me, and I love to live outside of the box—bringing fresh ideas and energy into every project I take on.

My style is natural, emotional, and timeless. I want my images to feel alive—not stiff or over-posed—because photographs should tell a story and reflect real life. I put my whole heart into each session and, yes, I admit I’m a perfectionist when it comes to editing and details. That’s because I know I’m helping create heirlooms—memories that will be cherished, passed down, and treasured for generations.

At the core of my work is a belief in empowering women. I believe strong women know their worth and are not threatened by the beauty of others. As I like to say: “A glowing woman can help other women glow and still be lit.” My photography is my way of helping women and families see their light, embrace their story, and carry that confidence into the world.
