I began my career in the photography industry on the other side of the camera – as I tell my children a long, long time ago and a dress size far, far away.  As a model and make-up artist I have worked with many different photographers and now apply that experience as a photographer myself.  Nothing is more satisfying than when I can turn the “I hate the way I look in photos” client into a “wow, I look great in these” client!  By working in the industry for over 20 years I have an advantage on how to photograph the image conscious by using angles and purposeful posing to fool the camera’s eye.  I believe your images should look like the best you, not a completely plastic version of you.  To achieve my style I like my clients to look natural and not posed, for the images to evoke emotion and look like real life.  I put my true heart into my work and am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to your session and image edits because I know I am helping you create an heirloom memory that will be viewed and treasured for years to come!
