Humbled to LOVE

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1 (NLT)

We were made to love one another! Isn't it amazing that in the world we live in there are so many "haters" running around complaining about all that is wrong and how they have been wronged. Yet, if asked "what have you done to change it?" would they have an answer?

I know this is a random blog for a photographer, yet I often wonder if we spent our energy differently could we as a human race change how the world looks and feels?

If we all truly focused more on loving others, being light to those in need, focusing on the positive, lending a hand, and building each other up instead of tearing each other down; wouldn't it be a better world we all lived in? If instead of complaining, if we actually do something to help a brother, wouldn't those who are hurting be more filled with love?

I know I am so thankful when others I know lend a helping hand and help me and my family! The overwhelming feeling of appreciation can change your whole mood for the day and make such a difference in how you react to those around you! What if we made it a goal to positively affect one person around us every day by offering a hug, lending them a buck or two, helping with their kids, giving encouraging words, or any other way of being loving. What if we could just humble ourselves to think of someone else besides our self or our family and help someone else; what if? I challenge you and I challenge myself!
